For ages, women have been paying special attention to their hair, make up, and nails. This can be a challenging task, especially the nails, for a woman on the go. Between a busy motherhood, duties as a wife, and going through the daily work grind, finger nails are sure to get broken along the way. Luckily, a set of beauty nails can transform even the most unsightly of fingertips into model hands. They are quite easy to use. Simply go through the pressing on process, and voila! It looks as though you spent a lot of money on a fancy manicure – when you know you secret is a set of beauty nails.
Beauty nails, also known as press on, or glue on nails, can be quickly applied with no trouble if you know what you are doing. The abbreviated capsule process goes like this: First the natural nail is filed to the proper size, and then the surface is buffed. Cuticles are then pushed back, and the beauty nails are applied. It’s that simple! You don’t need to go through the hassle of daily nail shaping, fear of broken or cracked finger nails, and best of all, your nail polish will stay fresh looking longer.
First, make sure your nails are well scrubbed and clean. Using a nail brush, clean the surface of your natural nails with soap and water. After this, rub them with an acetone based nail polish remover to get off any particularly stubborn spots. Your next step is the buffing of the natural nail surface.
It is critical in the application of artificial nails that you make sure the surface of the natural nail is rough. If it isn’t, your beauty nails are likely to easily fall off. So, using an emery board, or nail file, buff the nail bed surface by lightly rubbing the file across the surface. Now you’re ready to shape the nails.
Some women have nails that are too large and flat for artificial beauty nails, and so must file them for a good fit. At the edges of the nail, use an emery board to file them down just a bit. With this step out of the way, you can move on to the beauty nail application.
First, trim the artificial nails to the proper size and shape. Now, all you need to do is glue them on. Apply a small amount – two to three drops - of nail glue to the base of the nail. Holding the artificial nail by its tip, press the base of the nail into the glue, and continue spreading the glue to the very end of the nail.
Now you can decorate and paint your beauty nails as you see fit, without the hassles of natural nails. Your hands will look beautifully manicured and stay that way for at least a week!

No matter what those hippies with their opposition to anything that makes girls pretty say, you cannot separate beauty and makeup. That is what it is for, after all – to make you look good. I have been using beauty make up since the age of 15, and will never give it up. I am so fond of beauty make up, in fact, that my friends can barely recognize me without it. I am rarely out of makeup, you see. I put it on first thing in the morning, take it off right before I go to bed, and do not leave my room without it.
I am so good with beauty skincare products, in fact, that most people assume that I was born with them. My friends could not imagine me without my beauty make up. Nevertheless, when I first started, I was as bad as anyone. As a matter of fact, I would smear lipstick all over my face! You see, I got in to my moms makeup at a young age. I knew that she put it on, and I wanted to be like her. I didn’t know how to do it, however.
The art of applying beauty make up actually was more difficult for me to learn than it is for many young girls and women. It took me years and years to get it right. Either I would use too much or too little. Either the beauty make up would be too dark or too light. My biggest problem, however, was getting the lines right with the beauty make up. I could never get my eyeliner pencil just right. I was too afraid of poking an eye out, so I would draw outlines that were far too big.
It wasn’t until college that I really learned how to put on beauty make up. At the time, I had a classmate who was taking beauty courses. We were staying together in an apartment out of convenience, but we soon became the best of friends. At that time, I had actually given up on beauty make up for the time being. It didn’t seem like a sophisticated thing for girls to wear. All of the really interesting women – those involved in politics and music – wore very little makeup on their faces. I wanted to be like them, and so I started to dress like them. It is a good thing that I found someone to turn me around and show me how to do beauty makeup, or I would still look like a hippie today.

I used to enjoy beauty hair salons from a consumer standpoint. I loved to go to the beauty hair salon, you see, and get a complete makeover done. I would get my nails, my makeup – the works. What I didn’t realize at the time – or at least didn’t think about – is what a great career running a beauty hair salon could be. Beauty hair franchises can make millions of dollars a year. It is just a matter of getting set up in business, and getting your business publicized.
Beauty school courses will help with this, but they will not do everything. Really, taking beauty classes is only the beginning. What you need is a sound financial mind. You need a business backer to get you going. If you want to have a beauty hair salon, you do not just need the best beauticians. You need a way to get into the market. If you are trying to open up a hair salon in a market that is already crowded, it will be even more difficult. I wanted to open up a San Francisco hair salon because I feel like I have a grasp on the needs of our community. I have lived in San Francisco for about 10 years now, so I know what it would take for a beauty hair salon to succeed in that city. Nevertheless, there are so many San Francisco salons that it is almost impossible to get running.
The important thing to do is to keep trying and trying and to never give up. I had a little bit of money from my previous job, so I could invest in my beauty hair salon. I knew a good supplier who would get me of the best beauty cosmetics. My shelves were well-stocked with bath and body products, so people could come in not only for a makeover, but also to buy hard-to-find beauty care products. It took me several tries to get everything to work. I had to open and then close my beauty hair salon three times before I finally made it work. I lost a lot of money in the effort, but it was worth it. You can’t imagine how great it feels to own your own business until you have actually experienced it. It is like nothing else in the world! I am proud to own my own beauty hair salon.

There is a lot of pressure these days to look young and desirable. We have become obsessed with losing weight and getting rid of wrinkles. Cosmetic surgery is beyond the means of a lot of people, so we search the glossy magazines for any beauty secrets that the experts can give us. Celebrities give their tips too, of course it’s easier to stay gorgeous when you have an entourage containing a personal fitness trainer, make up artist and hair stylist.
Millions of dollars are spent on face creams and products that promise to remove wrinkles. Men have become just as vain as women, moisturizing, exfoliating and dying their hair. Is there anything we can do apart from botox injections? Some beauty secrets have been handed down from the old Hollywood stars. Many an actress today plunges her face into a bowl of cold water and ice. If the shock doesn’t kill you, it’s supposed to invigorate and stimulate the skin. This might be too extreme for a daily regime but no pain, no gain.
It may be a cliché but the best advice on looking good is to live right. Smoking, partying, eating rich foods and alcohol all take their toll if not moderated. The body can only take so much and the skin will start to show the visible results of an unhealthy lifestyle. Dry, creased skin and dark circles under the eyes will betray all. There is no great mystery to beauty secrets. There’s nothing wrong with buying lotions and potions but it’s only a temporary fix before it all catches up with you. Eating plenty fruit and vegetables, no smoking and drinking water or pure juice instead of caffeine is a good regime to follow. A sufficient amount of sleep is also beneficial. The body needs time to recuperate.
Some women won’t take the garbage out until they are fully made up. The thought of facing the world without putting their face on sends them into blind terror. The fact is that cosmetics were not invented to preserve our youth. The less make up, the better. Of course, we women couldn’t give it up entirely so it’s important to cleanse, tone and moisturize every day. If you are buying products that claim to offer all the beauty secrets known to civilization, make sure the manufacturer has a good pedigree. If it retails at a ridiculously low price, the chances are that the ingredients are not as pure as you would wish.
